NaNoWriMo Week One, Moving Forward

Here’s how the first week of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) went for me, a short recap in a few sentences and pictures.

On the first day of NaNoWriMo, things started off great. I completed more than 300 words over the recommended daily word count.

Days two and three weren’t as promising. I completed slightly more than half of the recommended count. Besides, Saturdays are always tough. I get busy with weekend stuff.

But I managed to squeeze in some words while watching TV.

By day four, I started to gain more momentum.

And days five and six, I was getting into a stride.

I had to train myself to do less editing and backtracking, more writing and moving forward.

Because that’s what NaNoWriMo is about, right? Moving forward?

Here’s to keeping it up—let’s move forward!
